For one of the most financially vulnerable processes you may every have (in life), it is really important to select a lender that is trustworthy and approachable and knowledgeable. I love Fairway and at first that just meant Mr. Downing – he is just wonderful… but as my process moved along, I encountered his team – and there was no difference!! They are all wonderful!! In most agencies, the face of the company is great (at first) – and then they get busy or you get lost in the shuffle of other people as things progress. This time, I found my lender before I started looking for a house – so I did not need a quick referral from my agent or anyone else.
